Hopefully the new grille will make it clear - i.e. you might find some bolt holes or something. It'd be nice to know ahead of time, but actually getting the new part should really help solve what needs to be done.
If you can get the front of the car off the ground a bit and look at it from behind you should be able to tell as well. You'll probably need to do that when it comes time to replace it anyhow.
