I see three envelops in messages:
1 for each of my two mailboxes on my iphone
1 for the google message directions I sent to the car from my computer
Does the system show text messages too? Just unread ones?
Can you look at all of this while the car is in drive and moving or only stopped and in park?
Hope it kicks in tomorrow morning when I restart the car and phone, I put in too much time already on it and I'm burned=-out..I should check my car software too - I just took delivery 2 weeks ago, I would think there is not an update available yet?? |
It takes two/three seconds from the SMS arrives to the envelope appears on the screen (infobox on the top right in NAV mode).
Then it's straight to the Telephone screen on the iDrive, hit the Messages menu and read the message.
Works when I'm driving as well.
Haven't activated Push e-mail so I don't know many details there.
