I use auto stop and auto hold all the time.

Auto Stop
I control whether I want the auto stop to kick in by adding a slightly higher pressure on the break pedal just before coming to a complete stop (This is described in the manual).

Auto Hold
Sometimes if I am on a slight incline (Down or Up), and the auto hold kicks in as expected, when I release the break pedal the car lurches slightly with a loud clunk, this is because the release of the foot break and switch to the auto hold moves the car lightly between the foot brake to hold brake. I only get this every now and then.
