The battery on my 2005 X3 is dying in what can only be described as a cold northeast winter; the first in a while! I know it has been discussed in some older threads, but is there a consensus about whether a new battery needs to be registered with the vehicle's computer to get the proper charging and battery life? Would this apply to 2005 MY BMW's?
