End of production someone posted previously was July 2017 and G01 will be a Fall 2017 release. So Sept 2017 is when we should see the new G01 X3s rolling out. So this body style (F25) will be out for at least one more year.
If they give you a good deal on the X5 I say go for it. I was never a Merc fan to begin with. I went from a E90 3 Series to Audi Q5 to now F25 X3. If you leave BMW, you'll always comeback. Unless you go up to a Porsche.
