Please post a video of you attempting to open the hatch using the toe kick sensor.

topic shows the two toe kick sensor rods on my vehicle. On my vehicle it is easy to perform a visual inspection of the toe kick sensor rods by removing the ten screws retaining the gravel guard, then removing the gravel guard.
