On the full auto version you hold it on the brakes all the time at say the traffic lights or in a queue of traffic and the stop start works [engine stops]. Once you go to move off you move your foot off the brake and go to the accelerator. The engine starts and off you go.
Normal practice of driving an automatic. The only difference with later cars is that the stop start process is initiated.
