Hi All,
Anyone have the following symptoms on their BMW X3 N55 engines? Will replacing the valve cover resolve this issue?
1. Intermittent issue, some days I have no issues at all.
2. When I do have this issue, as long as I keep pressing the gas pedal and the vehicle is in motion, no screeching sound, as soon as I release the gas pedal, the sound returns.
3.Very loud sound, can be heard from a far distance (pedestrians always turn around with a WTF look on their face, 😂

4. When coming to a stop, the idle sounds rough, almost like engine will stall.
