The complexity of new vehicles is increasing exponentially, and as the complexity and count of the number of sensitive components goes up, so will the early and long-term failures. To compute the probability of failure, the Mean time Before Failure (MTBF) ratings for individual components are divided by a weighted distribution of the number of components in a system. More parts = more likelihood of failure.
You just added another data point on the failure distribution curve.

What scared the S**T out of me ,was the fact this could go wrong at
any time according to BMW's Campaign ID Number.
