I agree there is no way. If it was newer.... and you still had BMW Assist active.... they could do it remotely but the service wasn't available on any 2004 BMW's.

The dealer can get you a new key with just the VIN but it takes a day or two. You will have to show proof of ownership.

The only other way is to break a window. The ones that roll up and down are the cheapest to buy and replace. Just in case you have to.........
