How is diesel quality in Greece? If it's up to the standard, then the diesel is the way to go.
I'm coming from the ML320 W163 myself, and power wise you won't miss the 3.2 V6 from the Merc. The X3 felt much more agile and punchier despite the 2.0 I4 configuration.
The diesel quality is not that great here, but BMW has approved them to be used on their modern diesel engines (maybe some light modification has been done? not sure), but I'm not worrying too much. If I have the option of twinpower 2.0L I might consider it just because of the diesel quality, engine wise the diesel is better IMO.
