I've been clarifying this lightning question in local bmw club, so there is an opinion that, when you have bi-xenon and adaptive lightning installed, these inside lenses are used for the turning lights (light a side when turn).
I got also another question sorted out meanwhile..
Regarding the rear lights. Each rear light set consists of two parts (one is located on the car body and the other is on the boot lid).. When you don't have bi-xenon installed, you have only partial indicators lights (these cute red lines) working located on the car body. But when you have bi-xenon, indicators lights are working on the both sides of the rear light set. May be it's only for RF market? Happy owners, could you check, please?
