The easiest way to do this is to unclip the little compartment on the inside left of the tailgate and you'll see a bunch of wires and such for the amp, etc. There's a little solenoid valve that you can unplug and just leave unplugged, and this will leave the flap open all the time. When you get sick of it, it's super simple to just plug it back in and the flap goes back to normal. Doesn't throw any codes or cause any problems, and the exhaust does definitely get a bit louder.
