The BMW UK website is a shocker IMO. It's incredibly slow and the configurator is very poorly designed and outdated. I emailed them when it wasn't working at all recently and they said

Quote:
I am sorry you have been experiencing problems with our website.

I can confirm that our internet site is currently undergoing major redevelopment and as a result some of the usual functions have been affected. We do not have a completion date at present, however, I can assure you that we are working towards restoring the full functionality without further delay.

Should you require any further information or assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.
It needs major redevelopment, that's for sure. That said, Audi's configurator is poor as well.

I think the BMW USA version is a bit better. You can explore the outside and inside of the car more and it's faster (the website, not the car, well the car as well actually!)
