Point taken, I wouldn't consider the X3 a luxury car though... Merc or Lexus comes to mind when I think luxury... BMW sport/performance.

I keep my cars for 8-10 years and sell privately. My last car I got 20% of the original purchase price after 8yrs and 220,000km.
