I have been reading many different posts on coding and have seen reference to a psdzdata file 4.85, (I think), and now I am seeing something about a 4.9.
Can someone please tell me exactly what I need to begin coding? The first thing I want to do is to code a digital mph display to my instrument panel.
- Will the 47.5 be sufficient?
- If I need a later version can someone tell me how to get it?
- Will a later version run with E-Sys version 3.18.4?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

47.5 is from July 2012, 9 months ago. It is almost certainly too old to Code your MY 2013 F25.
To know with certainty what you need, the I-Level of the car must be determined. You can do this though using the E-Sys 3.18.4 and 47.5 PSdZData you already have as follows:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=1403
If your I-Step (current) is <= F025-12-07-507, you can code your car with what you have.
If your I-Step (current) is >= F025-12-07-507 & <= F025-12-07-509, you need 48.3 PSdZData to code your car.
If your I-Step (current) is >= F025-13-03-501, you need 49.x PSdZData to AND E-Sys 3.22.5 to code your car, the later of which requires a new Patch / Token.
If you just want to play it safe, then go with E-Sys 3.22.5 and 49.x PSdZData as you can't go wrong since it is fully backwards compatible.
