Try locking the car then press the lock button again, this should disable the alarm but leave the car locked

Is there some way to disable the interior sensors or whatever sets it off? On my old 2000 Audi S4 there was a button down on the b-pillar you could push to disable the alarm.

I don't like to leave the car unlocked when I take my dog with me...
