I'm not sure if that's true. But the whole question was about what the benefits of Plastidip were over vinyl. I'm sure even cheap vinyl wouldn't leave streaks like from the Plastidip applications. To my knowledge, the vinyl is advertised to have a "Long life span, up to 7 years" and be "UV and water resistant".
Plastidip have the same benefits? What I was trying to get at is for the same price, you
could vinyl wrap your car instead.
