I believe those are the gas pressure shock absorbers and electronic dampers preparing themselves for driving. After the car officially shuts down (some number of minutes after leaving it), pressing the unlock, lock, pathway lighting/panic button, or touching the Comfort Access door handle will cause this to happen. It's normal.
