Great timing to chime in Rob. I'm actually looking at dipping my wheels gloss black or anthracite. I thought anthracite might be cool, as it'd be unique. Everyone has black...
But I wonder if anthracite might be too hard to take care of, for chips. Any opinions on the colour?
The shop says they have two stages:
Stage 2, for a 20% premium, is different because we apply a topcoat that almost eliminates the peel-ability of Plasti Dip, making it the same as paint while adding a protective coating that is more durable (and can withstand more washing).
Stage 1 has a lifespan of around 1-2 years, Stage 2 almost indefinite like paint since it's not peel-able.
I wonder which I should go with...
