In Southern Africa this is the OEM wheel on the X3 xDrive20d. Mine came standard with Dunlop SP Sport MAXX TT DSST 225/60R17 99V (RFT; made in Germany). In the past new nomenclature in tyres included "radial", "unidirectional", "asymmetric", "RFT", etc. Latest one seems to be "LRR" - low rolling resistance": googling some/all of the above terms did not yield satisfactory results. Closest I came as an alternative tyre was Pirelli P7 Cinturato - but although mentioning "LRR" - did not claim it specifically as such. In Sweden another spanner in the works may be "winter tyres"...I asked my dealer to let me know when a new F25 20D comes in - so that I can inspect the tyres as I would like to build a database for when replacement time comes. In May 2011 local dealer actually plans a "tyre day" - will see what info I can get there. Currently with the Dunlops I am happy - they obviously are "summer" tyres for our climate - but drove it in a recent cloudburst and cannot fault them. Regards.
