maybe take the key to security and hve them safeguard it until you get there? I would opt for opening the hood and putting the key on the air cleaner and then locking and closing the hood, or open the gas door , lock car and then close gas door. I believe it will lock. the hood is the best one, you can open it from the inside, no one will look for it there and its too much trouble to search for it. all the others, top of tire, tailpipe are all obvious hiding places.
