For me, it all worked in the end. But I noticed two things: first, the position of the remote control in relation to the receiver makes all the difference. I could not program the rolling code the first time, because the car's receiver did not catch the remote's signal at all. I experimented with many distances (like the manual said) and I finally got it. Second, because mine was a rolling code, I also had to set my opener to the "learning mode" and within 30 seconds press the button I programmed three times. After that, it worked consistently.
