Most residential security gates for multi-unit developments do not have rolling security codes.
The home link will generally work. You just have to follow the instructions TO THE LETTER. If it fails the first time, reset/clear the home link (push in the 2 outside buttons?) and start over.
For some weird reason, I was only able to get my gate opener to work with the middle of the 3 buttons.
