Has anyone checked out Execuhitch (
www.execuhitch.com) as a US solution to the X3 trailer hitch issue? I have a Draw-Tight hitch on my Lexus RX-400h, but it is truly ugly. If we didn't tow our jet ski and horse trailers with it, I'd tear it off in a heartbeat. Execuhitch looks fantastic and reasonably priced ($700), but I don't want to be the guinea pig for it.
BTW, my 2001 X5 has a beatifully integrated hitch, but required the rear bumper to come off to install it. It was spendy, but well worth it given how much we tend to tow things around the Northwest. Why did BMW seem to lose interest in a quality tow hitch accesssory for the US over the last ten years?
