You can't compare an X3 and a Cayenne. I have a Cayenne S right now, and I test drove the X3 35i a couple of times before deciding to purchase it. From braking, handling, the cayenne is much more responsive. The cayenne has insane brakes, and it basically drives like a sports car even when turning. But, it was a budget issue for me, so that's why I got the X3 on order, very similiar speeds 0-60 as the new cayenne s, but over $15k cheaper (in canada).
