Does anyone know how to remove just the glove box door? The leatherette like material that covers the actually body of the glove box door on my wife's X3 has started to separate. I let it go for too long and it's now to the point that half of the cover is peeling off. The indent around the latch is going to be the hardest part to get right. I was hoping to just remove the door and the completely remove the cover material, put a good epoxy coat on the whole thing and then put a loosely packed sand bag on top to hold the whole cover in place and fill in the latch indentation as it dries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to remove the glovebox door from the glovebox? I also have the separating glovebox cover
