Mine is 3 km/h faster than what I am really going, which is 3%.
It is B.S. that they do it on purpose, there is no reason to put a miscalibrated measuring tool anywhere.
They would not get sued for going over the speed limit, but I would for sure sue them if my transmission breaks right after warranty.
This is why at my next service I will get them to put a note on file saying that the speedo is overeading by 3% and this will protect me a little bit in case.
