I'm sure it seems unusual these days, but I'll always go for the manual version of any car as long as its still offered. Suppose that's what makes us all different.

I'm sure resale value will be affected if you choose manual, by how much I don't know. I prefer driving a manual car, but with higher levels of traffic congestion in my area I wouldn't get enough clear road to enjoy it + the 30d I have on order doesn't have the option for manual.
