I echo many of the points that you raise, especially with the interior and the lack of quality.
Not sure it gets any better to be honest. If anything the rattles and strange clicks start after the first few days which really get annoying.
At least you got one of the better engines and I believe the wider public are still oblivious to just how average this car really is so resale values are still pretty good should you want to change.
