Here is my email response from the US/Can Nokian rep.
"In 245/50R18 we have the WR A3 (all-weather) run-flat available. No G2’s or G3’s are produced in run-flat at this time in that size."

However, this specific tyre does not appear in their product list as being current or discontinued. This matches your link provided. Maybe I should email the rep and confirm, the actual status. Thanks, for the heads up. Nokian from Finland invented the snow tyre! If I had lots of snow here, I would instead get the dedicated Hakka R2 SUV instead, hence the all weather is the better match for my needs.

The other size that I need is discontinued, hence reluctant to buy as replacements can be tricky.
