I have the standard sound pack with the terrible Business CD Head Unit.
I managed to swap out the speakers for Alpine coaxial ones and this has improved things greatly but i feel there is still room for improvement in the area of the HU.

As the cars original HU does not connect to Amp/SatNav/BT/Integrated parking sensors, I'm hoping its possible to do a straight swap with a used Professional HU like the CD73 from 1 & 3Series.

Does anyone have knowledge or experience in doing this ?

Will i require a new harness or coding to get it to work in the X3 ?

Can it be done at all ?
