Can anyone confirm what's the max offset (yes max) you need on a 17x8 to clear the calipers on the N55? Looking at winter wheel options and I plan to run a factory set of Style 112's, originally on the E83, which is 17x8 et46.

The factory 308's that came standard on my F25 are 18x8 et43 so I've lost 3mm clearance. I'm hoping a 5mm spacer will be more than sufficient, factoring both the 3mm differential and difference in spoke clearance.
