The Pirelli winter tires have actually lost significant ground vis a vis other prime brands in tests here in Austria (where we have lots of snow and lots of mountains). Continental, Dunlop, Good Year and Michelin have been dominating the charts for the last 3-5 years. I have Dunlop 4D on mine and was really happy last winter. Braking and accelerating on snow was perfect. Cornering can be a little better, but not too bad. Can't wait for the first snow. My skis are ready for the season.
