Wrong!......sorry. It is not always necessary to go off road to produce a tyre/bodywork foul point. Consider a loaded vehicle, traveling at speed, a tight corner with an adverse camber, any slight amount of 'confidence' breaking and the nose will dive exaggerating the body roll. At best, tyre and/or bodywork damage is likely; at worst, it could cause the vehicle to become unstable and even roll.

One is best advised to proceed with caution and to remember that the X3 is no M3, even if it does share the same basic engine and platform. Not a lot of point in trying to 'reinvent the wheel'............after all BMW have done that for you, yes?
