I also had a 2004 and a 2010 X3 and agree with what you said about those versions.
With the bad roads here I chose to stick with the 17” wheels.

18" RFTs. The pressure was originally adjusted to 32 psig but the dealership guys fiddled with it afterwards, so I am not sure what it ended up at
