Seriously, you could not tell the difference from any competent BMW bodyshop. The durability would be the same too.

What I mean is during production the panels are sprayed and heat treated before they are assembled. If you re-spray you're spraying an assembled car and covering up the parts you don't want to over spray. That might look the same but can't be as good IMO
