They both come out of a gun but depending on the amount of 'orange peel' on the surrounding panels, the bodyshop will have to lower their standards to match it and thus create 'orange peel' effect when usually a flawless finish would be achieved
Seriously, you could not tell the difference from any competent BMW bodyshop.
The durability would be the same too.
