Although the proud owner of an xDrive20d, I am secretly quite jealous of the 30d brigade and if ordering now would probably have opted for the 30d, or even waited for the 3.5d - you will pay more tax and more insurance though! £125/year for the xDrive20d. All over that!

If you use the power all the time you'll have great mpg as you'll have no license! It's a balance of using it at the right time and not being a boy racer....but this depends on your point of view.
The 3.5D will be even quicker than the 3.0D but I wonder if the difference will be that big, maybe the main point it that it will feel more effortless. I know with the older 335D engine the economy suffered, could be the newer engine is better.
