While the concept is very similar, Acura's 3.5l motor sucks ass for power, which is why I didn't buy one. If it was pushing maybe 50hp more, I would consider. BMW has spoiled me for power/displacement ratios, plus ease of tune.
I think BMW will have a better roofline, allowing for more space. Also, the trending rumor is that this will be a 3 door, which, IMHO, is better than trying to squeeze two more doors on the sides. It's like a e92 vs a e90, I've had both and it was harder getting in and out of the sedan. The longer doors of the coupe are just easier.
