I plan on it. Not much aftermarket available for the current X3's. I don't think there will be too much available.
I plan on doing a tune and some suspension as well.
For tune
JB1 is currently available for the n55. Dinan will hopefully be available by spring next year.
I am not too sure if the n55 BMW performance tune will work as well. To me that would be ideal.
There isn't too much support at all with the X3 (1st gen too). I would imagine that if the X3M comes out, there will be more.
