I don't think options matter. Adding options won't make the local dealer any more money if you stay to the same % above invoice.
I went to 4 dealers. 2 offered me really lousy deals with an insulting trade-in offer. 3rd dealer was better in both respects and 4th dealer blew the others away both in trade-in & $ over invoice.
Email all your local dealers Internet Sales Manager. Tell him what you're looking for and how much above invoice you're willing to go. Go to enough dealers and you'll find a good deal.
My first 2 dealerships said, "The BEST we can do is $500 off. The dealer I choose gave me $2,600 with no haggling on my part implying I could have gotten an even better deal. Keep looking. You can use the extra $2,000 you get off MSRP to buy the 6y/100k warranty upgrade... or the tire warranty. I'd like both but I've already gone far over what I wanted to spend.
