I got the x3 with the staggered performance tires - P Zeros. I don't think that there is much difference.

When the weather is bad I have to go to work. When it's really bad, I have to go to work. When it's snowing 21" and all of the sane people are indoors, I have to go to work. Winter tires aren't an option for me.
