Who purchased/installed the replacement engine? (you, your mechanic, etc.)
Did the used engine come with any kind of warranty? If so, what are the details?
If there is NO warranty of any sort...on either the engine itself or from the shop that did the installation you are stuck and will need to have the recommended repairs done in order to have a functional car. Or consider other options: like selling the car, etc.
