Dynamic Damper Control Now Standard in US 35i?

I just picked up my new X3 35i on Dec. 30. I ordered the Dynamic Handling Package (DHP) particularly for Dynamic Damper Control (DDC) as it is listed as part of DHP in the build it configurator on BMW's website.

However, looking at the window sticker as well as the configuration info the dealer sent me when the order was placed, I'm beginning to wonder whether DDC is actually standard on the 2012 X3 35i (at least in the US) despite what the website says. Here are my data points:

The window sticker lists:
Dynamic Handling Package $1400
- Performance Control
- Variable sport steering

(Note: No mention of DDC -- in contrast to the BMW USA website)

So I went back and checked the configuration sheet the dealer sent me at the time I placed the order. Here is the the full order:

You can see that DDC is not listed as part of the ZDH (DHP) Package, but IS listed as Code 223 at No Cost. This indicates to me that DDC is part of the standard X3 xDrive35i config. It's strange that BMW doesn't explain this more clearly.

Am I misinterpreting this?

I'm not complaining, as I also really love the Variable Steering as well as the DDC, but I'm mentioning it because there has been much confusion on the subject of DHP and the Normal/Sport buttons (hopefully I'm not adding to it!).
