Typically, he said the TC's fail because the owner tows boats/trailers -- which this car really isn't meant to do. The only thing I need to get used to is gas mileage. I've been getting 24mpg on my e90 n52 (combined city/hwy), and i'm getting 17mpg on my e83. But, this isn't a big deal as i know i'm not driving a leaf lol.
Can't help with alarm but that gas milage is nothing crazy if you drive in town (heavy car, engine needs to spin 4 wheels not 2, etc). If I go for X3 i'd only get it in diesel here though. sorry for jacking the thread, lol.
