Compare Macan dimensions to X4 Concpet dimensions (which will be almost identical to the production vehicle).
Macan: 184.3 (L) x 76.1 (W) x 63.95 (H) x 110.5 (WB)
X4: 183.0 (L) x 75.4 (W) x 63.9 (H) x 110.6 (WB)
And both feature almost identical boot space.
So, regarding the dimensions both cars are almost identical & thus direct rivals. Macan is a bit heavier.
In S variant it offers a bit more power over 35i - and it's marginally faster 0.1-0.2 seconds faster 0-60mph.
Even the base price tags (for directly comparable models) will be almost identical!
