I was thinking about, but here there is a difference of 10000eur between 2.0d and 3.0d, which is too much in my opinion - only marketing strategy of BMW. I had a budget I wanted to respect. So, the price of this configuration was about 59000eur including VAT, and the final (discounted) price was about 45-46000eur ... This was my price target - around 45000eur.
Then, some taxes are much higher for bigger engines here, and also there is some tax instability in this moment - the government doesn't know how to get more money and they try to increase taxes and "inventing' new taxes. Imagine that - we have a road tax in fuel, then a vignette for roads. We pay some taxes on some bridges and they want to put a new tax for highways and also another road tax in fuel for helping railway infrastructure. How does it sound to you guys ?
LE: diesel price is in Romania around 1.35Eur/l ( normal quality eur5 ). It's one of the lowest price in EU I think, but it includes a lot of taxes
