49512 miles experienced the same fate. while cleaning the car I noticed oil residue on the front of the engine. I cleaned the engine in attempt to isolate the source, and took it to the dealer. Dealer replaced the filter housing under warranty. Would advise folks to be on the lookout for excess oil around the engine bay especially those above 40k miles.
