I went for the tire and rim protection. I broke 3 maybe 4 tires on my 335XI. I have the 19" mixed performance tires with my X3. They are Pirelli P Zeros and cost $411 and $436 per tire from tirerack. The protecton package for the wheels and tires was $1000+ and is for the term of my lease.
